About Me

I am a professional qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

My values and character - I’ve always had a strong drive to help and heal people. I hate seeing any living creature in pain. It’s very rewarding to see clients making progress and having successful therapeutic outcomes. Its great to see someone smile again. I’m naturally empathic and genuine. By nature I am a good listener. I feel privileged that over the years people have freely opened up and shared details of their personal lives with me.

I am compassionate and don't judge. Having often been told that I was a natural counsellor, my personal journey has involved a career change and setting up my own practice.  In other related work, I have held various supportive roles with adults with multiple and complex needs such as homelessness and rough sleeping, addiction and mental health issues.

I am a musician and started live performances from age 16.  My own personal development has enabled me to overcome stage fright. I am passionate about helping people unlock their potential. Counselling has helped me reduce inner conflict, increase inner flow and the ability to be more in the moment. Whether or not you are a performer, I would recommend the benefits of counselling if you are looking for increased self-acceptance, and less dwelling in the past or worrying about the future.
